1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at wheelyservices.co.uk (the "Site") and the driver licensing support services offered by Wheely Services Ltd ("Wheely Services", "we", "us" or "our"). By browsing the Site, submitting a form, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
2. Who we are
Wheely Services is an independent driver licensing support company operating branches across the United Kingdom. Wheely Services is not Transport for London (TfL), a local licensing authority, the DVLA, the DBS, or Uber, Bolt, Wheely, FreeNow or any other ride-hailing platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent of any of those organisations; we support you in dealing with them. All trademarks referenced on this Site belong to their respective owners.
3. Eligibility
Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 or over who are seeking to obtain or maintain a UK driving licence, a private hire/PCO licence, or registration with a ride-hailing or private hire platform. By submitting a form on this Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
4. What our services do (and don't) cover
Depending on what you ask us for, our services may include: guidance on obtaining a UK driving licence, support with PCO/private hire licence applications, arranging enhanced DBS checks and Group 2 medicals, topographical and English/SERU test preparation, registering you with one or more ride-hailing or private hire operators, referrals for PCO-compliant vehicle hire or rent-to-buy, and tracking your licence/DBS/insurance renewal dates.
Final decisions on whether to grant a driving licence, private hire licence, DBS certificate, medical clearance, or platform account are made solely by the relevant licensing authority, medical examiner, DBS service or platform, not by us. We help you prepare and submit a strong, compliant application, but we cannot guarantee that any application will be approved, or guarantee approval timescales, as these depend on third parties outside our control.
5. Fees
This Site does not process any payments online. Pricing for our services is discussed and agreed directly with your chosen branch during your consultation, before any chargeable work begins. Submitting the Register or Contact form does not create a binding obligation to pay for any service; it starts a conversation with your nearest branch.
6. Your responsibilities
When you use this Site or our services, you agree to:
- provide accurate, current and complete information, and tell us promptly if anything changes;
- use the Site only for lawful purposes, and not attempt to interfere with, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its underlying systems;
- not impersonate another person or submit a form on behalf of someone else without their knowledge; and
- comply with the licensing authority's, DBS's, medical examiner's and any ride-hailing platform's own eligibility rules and terms, which sit alongside and are separate from these Terms.
7. Third-party platforms and services
Where we help you register with a ride-hailing or private hire platform (such as Uber, Bolt, Wheely or FreeNow), arrange a DBS check, book a medical, or arrange vehicle hire or insurance, that platform or provider has its own separate terms, privacy policy and approval process, which you will need to accept directly with them. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, pricing, or decisions of these independent third parties.
8. Intellectual property
The Site's design, text, layout and branding (including the Wheely Services name and logo) are owned by or licensed to Wheely Services Ltd and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages of the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use in connection with your application, but you may not reproduce, republish or redistribute any part of the Site for any other purpose without our prior written consent.
9. No warranty
The Site and the information on it are provided "as is". While we take care to keep the Site's content accurate and up to date, we make no warranty that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information on it (including turnaround times, pricing ranges or eligibility criteria) will remain accurate at all times, as licensing rules and platform requirements can change outside our control.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law. Subject to that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Wheely Services will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of income, profit or opportunity, arising from your use of the Site or our services, or from the decision of any third-party licensing authority, DBS service, medical examiner or ride-hailing platform. Where we are found liable to you in connection with a paid service, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us for that specific service.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact your branch directly, or email cs@wheelyservices.co.uk, and we will look into it and respond as quickly as we can.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or in the law. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date, and will apply from the date they are posted.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
